We develop original solutions to everyday problems while helping individuals and businesses turn their ideas into physical products.
Where is Mucci Products located?
We're based in Quebec, Canada. Our products are designed and produced in-house, with orders shipped from Canada.
Are your products made in Canada?
Our original 3D-printed products are designed and manufactured in Canada. We handle design, printing, quality inspection, and order preparation.
What makes Mucci Products different?
We focus on functional design, customization, and practical engineering. Rather than simply reselling existing products, we develop our own solutions and offer custom manufacturing services.
Our goal is to make custom manufacturing accessible, whether you need a single replacement part, a prototype, or multiple units.
2. Door Hinge Protectors for Painting
What are Mucci hinge protectors?
Our hinge protectors are reusable, 3D-printed covers designed to protect door hinge barrels and the door-side hinge leaf from unwanted paint.
They slide directly over the hinge barrel without adhesive tape, making painting preparation and cleanup easier.
How do I measure my hinge for the correct size?
Measure the outside diameter of the round hinge barrel — the cylindrical section that contains the hinge pin.
Do not measure the flat hinge leaf or the hinge pin alone.
Digital callipers are recommended for accurate measurements.
We currently offer five nominal barrel sizes:

How do I install the hinge protectors?
Installation is simple:

Measure your hinge barrel and select the correct size.

Choose the left- or right-oriented protector.
-
Position the extended lip toward the moving door edge.
-
Align the protector above the hinge barrel.
-
Slide it downward until positioned correctly.
Make sure the protector fits securely without interfering with the door.
No screws, tape, or tools are required for normal installation.
Why are there left and right protectors?
Door hinges can have different orientations depending on how the door is installed.
Each pack includes 3 left-oriented and 3 right-oriented protectors, allowing you to position the extended lip correctly.
The lip should face the moving door edge, not the stationary door jamb.
Do I need painter's tape?
No! Our protectors slide directly over the hinge barrel, eliminating the need to wrap the barrel with tape.
There's no adhesive and no sticky residue.
Can I use the hinge protectors for spray painting?
Yes! Our hinge protectors can help shield hinges during spray painting, brushing, and rolling.
However, spray paint can travel through small gaps, so additional masking may be necessary for heavy spraying or professional finishing.
What is the extended lip for?
The extended lip provides additional coverage over the door-side hinge leaf, helping protect it from unwanted paint.
It should face the moving door edge when installed.
What is the pry opening for?
The integrated pry opening makes removal easier after painting.
If a protector becomes difficult to remove, carefully insert a flat-head screwdriver into the designated opening and gently pry upward.
Avoid excessive force to prevent scratching the hinge or surrounding surface.
Can I reuse the hinge protectors?
Yes! Our hinge protectors are designed to be reusable, job after job.
For the best results, wipe away excess paint before it dries completely. Remove the protector carefully and store it for your next project.
What materials are the hinge protectors made from?
Our standard hinge protectors are 3D printed using PETG plastic and TPU plastic (flexible), providing a combination of durability, rigidity, and slight flexibility.
What colours and quantities are available?
Our standard hinge protectors are available in blue and green, across five hinge barrel sizes.
Each pack contains six protectors:

Will the protectors fit every door hinge?
Not necessarily. Hinge barrels vary in diameter, length, and design.
We offer several sizes for common residential and commercial applications, but compatibility should be verified before ordering.
If you're unsure, send us a photo and your measurements.
Are the hinge protectors patented?
Patent pending.
The Mucci hinge protector is an original product design for which patent protection is being pursued.
3. Swimming Pool Pole Holder
What is the swimming pool pole holder?
Our pool pole holder is a compact, 3D-printed accessory designed to hold and position pool-cleaning poles near your pool.
It helps keep cleaning equipment organized, accessible, and off the ground.
How does the pool pole holder work?
The holder attaches to a compatible pool handrail or support and provides a convenient position for your pool-cleaning pole.
It's designed for simple installation and removal without complicated hardware.
Will it fit my pool handrail and cleaning pole?
Compatibility depends on your handrail and pole dimensions.
We recommend checking the product dimensions before purchasing.
If you're unsure, contact us with photos and approximate measurements.
Is the pool pole holder suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. It's manufactured using PETG plastic, which offers good moisture resistance for typical outdoor applications.
However, prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures, harsh chemicals, or excessive force may affect its lifespan.
What colours are available?
Our standard colours include white, blue, and gray.
Available options can be selected directly on the product page.
Is the pool holder patented?
Patent pending.
This is an original Mucci Products design for which patent protection is being pursued.
4. Custom 3D Printing & CAD Design
Do you offer custom 3D printing?
Yes! We provide custom 3D printing for individuals, hobbyists, students, entrepreneurs, and businesses.
We can help produce prototypes, brackets, organizers, functional components, replacement parts, and other custom-designed objects.

Do I need a 3D model before requesting a quote?
No!
If you already have a ready-to-print file, use our online estimator.
If you only have an idea, sketch, photograph, technical drawing, or physical object, contact us to discuss creating a 3D model.
CAD design services are quoted separately based on project complexity.
Which 3D file formats do you accept?

Can you modify an existing 3D model?
Yes!
We can review requests involving resizing, modifying features, improving fit, adjusting geometry, and adapting existing designs.
Modification costs depend on the original file and requested changes.
Do you offer CAD design without 3D printing?
Yes!
If you only need a digital 3D model, we can discuss a design-only project.
You can also request both CAD design and physical 3D printing as part of the same project.
What materials are available for custom printing?
Our online estimator currently offers:

Can I request specific colours?
Yes!
Our estimator supports up to four colours per project, subject to filament and material availability.
Specify your preferred colours and explain which parts or features should use each one.
We'll aim to match your requested shades as closely as practical.
What is the maximum size you can 3D print?
Our current estimator uses a standard printing area of approximately 250 × 250 × 250 mm.
Larger objects may be possible by splitting them into smaller sections and assembling them afterward.
Oversized projects require individual review.
Can I order just one custom part?
Absolutely!
We accept requests for individual parts, one-off prototypes, and small production runs.
You don't need to order in bulk to use our custom printing services.
Can you reproduce a broken or discontinued replacement part?
We can review your existing part, measurements, and reference photos to determine whether a replacement can be designed and manufactured.
Feasibility depends on geometry, precision, material requirements, and intended use.
Safety-critical components may require alternative manufacturing methods or professional certification.
Do you offer bulk 3D printing?
Yes!
We welcome requests for multiple identical components and small production batches.
Pricing depends on material, print time, quantity, finishing, and packaging.

5. Shipping, Payments & Orders
Where do you ship?
We currently serve customers in Canada and the United States, with orders shipped from Quebec, Canada.
For international shipping inquiries, please contact us.
How much does shipping cost?
Our current standard shipping rates are:

Canada: CA$9.95 for orders under CA$200.

Canada: Free standard shipping on orders of CA$200 or more.

United States: CA$19.95 standard shipping.

How long does shipping take?
Standard hinge protector sets and pool pole holders are normally produced within 1–2 days before dispatch.
Other in-stock products are generally prepared within 3–5 business days unless otherwise stated.
Estimated transit times after dispatch:

United States: 5–12 business days.
Production time is additional. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed and may vary due to carrier delays or customs processing.
Are U.S. import duties included?
For our hinge protector sets, applicable U.S. import duties are included in the checkout total and prepaid before shipment.
For other products and special orders, import charges are handled according to the information provided at checkout and our Shipping Policy.
Can I track my order?
Yes! Tracking information is provided when your selected shipping method includes tracking.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Orders may be changed or cancelled if production or fulfillment has not already started.
Custom orders generally cannot be cancelled once design work or manufacturing has begun.

6. Returns, Product Quality & Support
What is your return policy?
Eligible standard products may be returned within 30 days of delivery, provided they're unused, in their original condition, and include their original packaging.
Please contact us before returning an item to receive return authorization.
Customers are generally responsible for return shipping unless an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.
Custom, personalized, and made-to-order products are generally final sale, subject to applicable consumer rights and our published policy.
What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?

Are visible 3D printing layer lines normal?
Yes!
3D printing builds objects layer by layer, so minor layer lines, seams, support marks, and cosmetic variations are normal.
These characteristics don't necessarily indicate a defective product.
We focus on functional quality, durability, and meeting the intended specifications.
Are your products safe for children?
Our products aren't designed as toys unless specifically stated otherwise.
Some products contain small components that may pose choking hazards and aren't suitable for children under three years old.
Always follow product-specific safety warnings.
